tic-tac-toe

In one end of the hall mark up a tic-tac-toe field (f.ex. using 4 weapons). Split the children in 2 teams with 3 identical pieces for each team (gloves, grips, …).

On start one from each group races down and puts down a piece and back. Each kid runs to the game area (one at a time) and either places a piece (if not all are used) or moves it. The next runner has to wait until the previous runner is back (clap hands) before running to the playing area. Each runner must make one move, and only one move.

As in ordinary tic-tac-toe the objective is to get the 3 pieces in line, while preventing the opposite team to archive the same, and you can only put your pieces in empty fields.
